Default SiriusXM

Hello... I'm new to the HD Forum and I'm also the new owner of a 2017 Ultra Limited Low.... my question is... the SiriusXM selection on the Home Screen is greyed out. Do I need to do something to activate it, or did my bike not come with this capability?

Thanks for your reply...
Al

It means your bike has no XM receiver installed. You'll need to install one to receive Satellite radio.

Around 250-300 bucks on board tracker last I bought one. You just insert the card into the back of the radio behind the fairing.

Yes, you have to buy the module and install it, which requires removing the outer fairing. Then once installed, you have to activate it which means appx $ 10 a month if you do their Mostly Music option, and you can deactivate during the winter to avoid the monthly charge. Once you are in there to install the XM module with the fairing off - you really should look at doing an Amp and Speaker upgrade as the stock system is pretty dismal. It's a good upgrade to do all three, makes the bike very enjoyable. Plan on $ 1,200 or more for speakers/amp and $ 300 or so for the XM module
