I still can't believe a DUDE actually determines whether he waves or not...by how the other dude is dressed....

I used to wave, but with so many bikes on the road, I have gotten a little lazy. My solution: a couple short toots on the airhorn.And I never used to wave at non-Harley bikes. However, recently, when my Harley shut down on me on the highway, a kid on a cheapo rocket stopped and gave me a hand to get off the road. So now I wave or toot to them also. Most seem surprised at me waving to them.

Some people may be to busy riding, going thru a curve or maybe they just don't see the person waving. I really don't feel like it's a bike issue. I will wave at anyone no matter what they ride if I can, if I see them, if i'm not busy thinking of something else like where i'm going, which road to take...what turn. It shouldn't be taken so personal if you wave and not get one back. I'm sure people wave at you and you may not see them. Wave when you can, i'm sure you will get your share if you give your share...
