Currently waiting for the other shoe to drop. With the recent spate of "New Users" posting troll-like posts, it should be interesting to see how this one pans out.

 

Absolutely no trolling here. I was genuinely curious because at that price it seems like a no-brainer. BUT...given the miles I wasn't sure if it would be worth the investment and wanted good, honest feedback. I put a feelers out for it and will request a maintenance report and see what shape it's in. I'll keep you guys posted.

There are only three possibilities here --

1) This is a troll post.
2) You were given the wrong price.
3) The bike is salvage and was in a wreck and is being sold for parts/scrap.

#3 is not possible as dealers do not sell salvage titles to the general public, nor do they advertise them or put them on the floor.
#2 doesn't add up as even non-harley owners know that $3k is not a realistic price for a 2017 Street Glide, regardless of mileage.
#1 is the only option left.

Number 2, unfortunately. The bike in one link was showing $3k, but when you actually go to the dealer's website it's a more realistic 18K lol
