what say the board as far as the better vixenmobile for a 5' 4" girl. the dyna isnt fuel injected...also....when she sat on both she liked the dyna better, but the clutch was tough for her, is there an easy clutch solution for an 03 dyna?? thanks!

 

I'd go Dyna and put the EZ Pull clutch in it. If I recall correctly it costs like 50 bucks.

 

dealer asking 12k for the dyna....has s/e pipes of some type, some nice chrome doodads, no hi perf a/c....and has 13000 miles on her. the 07 sporster 1200's being blown out for 8500 or so......perhaps i make a 10,500 offer on the dyna? dunno....also have to buy a warranty for the 02. hmmmm

 

That's WAAAY high for the Dyna.

 

Yea it seemes a little high for the dyna, I would keep checking around. If your going to spend the money you might as well get what you want.

 

That is outragous for a 5-speed Dyna. From what you discribed offer $9500 and show some cash. All the 5-speeds have dropped like a rock in price, esc. in Cali. She will be more comfortable on the Dyna and it will have better resale. I have one myself. Check craigslist.com and traderonline.com. You can find nice Dyna's all day long for $9-11K. Or if she likes Softtails I am finishing a build in the next couple of week that I may part with. Just my .02.

Sporty. Since the engines have been rubber mounted, I'm surprised the Dynas are even selling anymore.

 

I'd go with the Dyna, but shop around a little. I paid only $9800 to a dealerfor my wife's '05 Low Rider with 7900 miles on it just before last Christmas.

 

its is actually a 2003 dyna if that matters, as opposed to the previous reported 2002. im thinking ill offer 10,500 for it and see what happens. im going with the dyna for selfish reasons...i think it would be nice to ride sometimes as well, whereas i probably wouldnt ride the 1200. :-)

 

Why wouldn't you ride the 1200?
