Default Need Help Again...

I pick this up yesterday at "Good Price" Santee Extra Wide Rigid.Okay first let me start of by saying, this is going to be my first from ground up build. Thought about possible Pan or Shovel. But my my question is how do I know what engine will fit. The guy I got it from, said that he had a Rev-Tech Engine on it but I really don't know. any help would be Great.

I can't zoom in and get the paperwork clear. But if its from late 90s early 2000s like I suspect. Its probably made for a evo.

Motor mounts should be the same for Knuck, Pan, Shovel of rigid mount Evo.

Is that a fact? Ive never had a reason to dig into what can or will fit what in that regard. But for the sake of just knowing.... If its "evo and 5 speed comparable" it could take all those motors and a 4 speed? Anything special one would have to do to make these fit?

Why do you have a Manufacturer Certificate of Origin and not a title on an 18 yr old frame?
Before you do anything, go to DMV and see if it can be registered.

Mso is from 2003.......I don't know why it was never registered from the looks of it.It was built and put in a shed or a barn it was dirty and the guy I got it from only bought it for the motor.I tried to call J.T.G cycles in College Point NY (name on MSO) but they aren't there any longer and Fat Bottom Motorcycles in Oakdale NY (name on the fender they did the paint and/or the build ) No answer

You could "make" any of the older motors fit with a 4 speed but you may have minor hick-ups

Knucks would not be a direct bolt-in...require an easy to get spacer to make fit.

The 4 speed would require a "4 speed in a 5 speed frame" mounting plate...older 4 speeds have several different main-shaft lengths that have to be taken into account if you want an electric starter.

The seat post can cause minor problems that usually only requires a ball peen hammer to correct.

A past you can't verify is exactly why you need to start the registration process. I'd hate to see you build that and find out you can't register/tile it.

I agree but before I head down that road I need to find out "What Fits" then move towards the other avenues. First what fits........ then DMV.......... then buy and build

Wow people actually call back lol Big Bottom is going to check their records and get back to me.

Well that ended that....... I talked to Bob @Big Bottom (did the paint ) and he told me the only way this going to happen is if I build to 2018 specs and it is going to be a lot of hoop jumping but there are other avenues that I can explore........ So my dream of owning a pan or shovel are pretty much nil....... lesson learned if it seems to be too good to be true.... it is a lie. Well thank you all for your time on to next mis-adventure Peace.

Wasn't that the whole reason HD abandoned evo because S&S was making drop in motors for HD frames?
