Question Best eyewear for half helmets

I just started wearing a half helmet and the glasses I bought suck at keeping the wind out of my eyes. My eyes water so bad from the wind that sometimes it is hard for me to see. I currently have some cheap unbranded riding glasses I bought from ebay. Just wondering if there are any better brands that actually work good at keeping wind and debris out of your eyes??

I wear a half helmet all year and have for a very long time. I've tried expensive riding glasses and cheap riding glasses. For the past 15 years, when I go to a major rally, every couple of years I go to the riding glasses vendor stalls and try the inexpensive foam padded riding glasses that have UV protection till I find the ones that fit my face just right and buy a pair for about $20-25. They usually last 2 or 3 riding seasons and then I toss them when the foam wears out and get new ones, They work just as well as ones that cost $200 apiece and I carry a spare or 2 in my tourpak.

Don't flame me, but the best eyewear for a half helmet is a full/modular helmet; Don't bother to ask me how I know.........

The $20 foam padded ones work for me too, and I wear contact lenses and a half helmet.

Had a pair that my wife got me at the dealership, global vision, with foam gasket, that worked really well. Went to prescription glasses, and now using Wiley X Tides. Wiley X have a removable foam gasket, but I don't usually use it. Zero issues with airflow causing eyes to water.

DVX from Wally World. Designed by Wiley X for about $50. Best bang for the buck. I use prescription lenses for $150.

I use the cheap ones from the local independent with the foam gasket. They work just fine. And I don't feel bad when they get all messed up.

Although mine do not have the gasket but I did buy a cheap pair from the dealer that fit close to my face and wrap around my eye's. Paid around 20 for them. As Ranger said if you mess them up you don't feel bad.

rk classic.
