2018 Road Glide CVO Speed Wobble
I recently traded in my 2015 Road Glide on a 2018 CVO Road Glide. My 2015 RG ran and road flawlessly. After taking the new CVO for a test ride, I noticed that the bike was not as stable as my 2015 RG was. I thought because of the front 21" wheel, that it was something that I just needed to get used to.
The other day I took the CVO out for about a 200 mile ride on and off of the highway. Once I got back on the highway, riding about 70 mph, I began to experience more than normal side to side movement on the bike. It felt like the bike was moving under me side to side. After experiencing this, I set the rear shock setting from 7 to 15 and opened all of my vents on the fearing. That still did not make any difference.
On my 2015 RG I was able to take my hands off of the handle bars at 70 mph. On the CVO, if I try to do that, the bike pulls to the left. Right now the CVO has 550 miles on it.
The second issue that I also experienced after this ride was an oiling issue. I contacted my dealer and supposedly new M8 engines have had some oil pump issues.
Has anybody had any of the above issues? Any feedback would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
