They are right on as to the sound, not quiet but deeper. I ran reg baffle no baffle and quiet on my BSS and like the quiets best. Took away almost all the BLATT sound.I got from robw23 on ebay and totally happy--60$. The fiberglass will burn out however but the sound is OK without it tho. I wrapped mine in ceramic blanket material and am in the tuning process for best numbers/performance. Had to laugh cuz I too sneak out @5 am and coast in home.
