Have a friend who is going to purchase a vehicle off EBAY. Is the Ebay Purchase protection account on Ebay motors the way to go? It is a classic car which will be shipped to his location. Has anyone purchased a vehicle using this? It seems that this process through Ebay will protect both sides, Is this true?

 

I have purchased & sold several vehicles on Ebay, including my current Harley.
I've never had one shipped to me but I've never had any problems.

 

Same as Helixhippy, I just would have to see first. I road it and looked at my bike and all was good. Not sure about the protection account but if I could not see it first , thats the way to go.
