The only 2 that I've seen someone purchase in the last couple years were bought for parts to build a different, more enjoyable style bike. Since many of those billet barge choppers had super high dollar S&S motors, Baker Trannys, Primo Belt Drive Primarys, Arlen Ness billet wheels, Performance Machine billet brakes.... You name it, they had it. A slightly handy guy needs little more than a new frame, triple trees and shorter fork tubes, and they can build a truly bada$$ bike for peanuts.

Bought this for my wife (still not married then) in 99'
28K in receipts not including any labor.
Put in on CL last spring for 6500.00
Finally sold late fall for 5 grand. A guy left a 1000 deposit but was never able to come up with the rest.
I took the ad down and told him "NO REFUNDS!" He kept trying to "make payments" of another 500 to 1000 at a time.
I should have let him make the payments to get the 6500.00.
After it sold for 5000, I gave the guy back 500. "Felt sorry for him never getting paid by the builder"
"Chopper" ?
