Default Good Source for Used Harley Financing?

I'm having a crush on a certain bike. If I wanted to finance a piece of this 2007 beauty, who would you folks recommend as a lender?

Thank you.

Check your local banks and credit unions. I purchased my used bike through a dealership and they found a 2.9% rate from a local credit union.

Now im not one of the cool kids that buy with cash from a private party but found a good deal all around. I could have paid cash but financed the bike and paid off a higher rate loan.

Are you buying from private or from a dealership?

I've never actually financed a Harley but i've gone through all the financing BS and been damn close several times. I always talk myself out of it. I digress. Anyway, honestly your best bet is either a credit union or the MoCo (eaglemark). A lot of banks don't have actual "motorcycle financing" and they'll try and get you into a personal loan, or some kind of RV loan. Both of which will have higher interest rates and less favorable terms.

Personally i would start at a credit union to see what they can offer, then take that info to a dealership and see what they'll offer. A little known fact is that the MoCo will finance rider to rider also, not just bikes at a dealership.

Good luck. I hope you get you one!

I do not recommend borrowing to buy a bike that old. Save up your money and pay cash.

If you choose to go ahead with financing, go to a local credit union. You don't have to be a teacher to open an account at Educator's Credit Union. Don't go to a bank or a finance company.

I hear Guido down on 2nd Street is a pretty reasonable guy with easy terms and usurious rates.

Take half the price of the bike in cash and take it to the roulette wheel and bet on black.

Most banks will not loan on anything over 10 years old.

Try your own bank or even eagle mark will give you a decent rate if you have good credit. If you want it and can afford the payments then buy what ever the hell you want...if everyone waited till they saved up to pay cash for bike the moco would have been out of business a long time ago lol. You only live once

A local credit union would be your best bet.
