Default ANOTHER HD Oil Temp Dip Stick Failure

I bought it on May 27th and yesterday it failed. Just stays on and flashes ERROR and 888 for temp all the time.

Less than 30 days and I have a receipt and the packaging. They should give me another one right?

Reading the bottom of the receipt it says:

NO RETURNS OR EXCHANGES ON ELECTRICAL OR HELMETS
NO RETURNS - EXCHANGES ONLY
NO EXHCANGES AFTER 30 DAYS
RECEIPT IS REQUIRED ! ! ! ! !

I hope they exchange it.

Mine went a couple of days ago after 2 years. They don't last. To say they are a POS would be a disservice to the guys that make POS. I would try to get my money back. Too bad the don't make a good old fashion analog one for Road Kings.

Based on the "online" price listing of $99.95, it is a true "Hundred Dollar" (HD) component...

Good luck getting this resolved. I would own one, but have heard of too many failures.

If only they made it in analog like they do the sloptails.

I would love to have an analog one. Do they make one for my model?

No, they currently do not make one for the touring bikes.
Figures...

The analog one I had on my sporty worked flawlessly...
