Keep in mind Myrtle Beach Bike Week isn't like other bike weeks. There is no central downtown where all the action is. You have to ride between Murrells Inlet and North Myrtle Beach for all the action. The city of Myrtle Beach doesn't want bikers so they just have it on both ends of the Grand Strand. You will get allot of riding in just traveling between venues.

There are many ride and eat areas around MB. Capt Archie's in Little River is a great lunch stop right on the ICW. Georgetown offers many downtown restaurants in the historic district. As others have mentioned, Wilmington NC and Charleston SC are with an easy days ride, with many interesting/fun stops in between. There are a few stops in NMB for night life, but most are in Murrells Inlet area when the sun goes down.

We rode up to Southport, NC last year and had lunch at Provision Company which was a nice change from the usual. I've always wanted to ride down to Charleston too but can never talk anyone into it. As someone else mentioned, you will spend a lot of time riding between Murrel's Inlet and North Myrtle Beach thanks to the City of Myrtle Beach and their attempt to quell the Atlantic Beach Bike Week. There's more places to eat than you can count, some good ones already mentioned. Capn' Archie's food seemed very improved at the fall bike week, good stuff!
