Do the 1200 kit. You will loose your *** selling or trading the bike.

Please don't get me wrong, I think the Sporty is a wonderful bike. If I fit on one I would probably own one.
The Sporty guys can be kind of touchy....you need to tread lightly in ANY discussion involving them.

I thought a sportster 1200 was faster than a dyna.

I suppose a lot of that depends on "how" you define faster. If you are talking about point A to point B in a straight line, the Sporty is likely to get the drop ona stock Dyna. If however you mean going into a turn or two, then the bike is of little consequence, and the rider is the main difference. I've seen a new sportbike rider pucker his *** around his seat as he worms his way through a tigh turn. I on the other hand, with a decidedly slower bike, can make him look clumsy in that same turn. I love my Dyna, but it is a tad slow...for now.
