Dunlop American elites here too and no reason the change. Funny because the Dunlops on my Fat Bob sucked.

Add me to the list. Better than 24,000 miles on the stock Dunlops on my Road King. Could have gotten a couple thousand more, but had a trip coming. No switching for me.

I'm not quite sure where y'all are getting these high numbers (maybe listing kilometers instead of miles) but this is what my best stock tire looked like after a little over 12,000 miles. Generally I get a lot less. This was the second stock Harley Dunlop on my Street Glide. The first one hardly made it to 8,000 miles:

Commander 2's I averaged about 8,000 each, and American Elite's as much as 12,000 miles.

Nope. Regular old American miles!

Nope, miles not kilos. 19-21k average and could get a couple k more if I wanted. What year is your street glide? Before they went from the old 140's to the 180's I used to average 10k on the rear on the D402s.

I've got no idea how any of you are getting the fantastic mileage you claim. I've used virtually all of the brands and specific models listed above. My bike isn't as heavy as a bagger (it's an FXDL), I weigh 230# myself, so excessive weight isn't the reason. I rarely have a passenger as the GF rides her own bikes. Probably less than 100 miles per year. Tire pressure (cold) 36 front 41 rear. Checked and corrected before every ride during T-CLOCS.
I get typical fuel mileage, based on HD's published #'s. So that's normal.

Nope, I just don't get it. (But I sure wish I did!)

PS. I don't do wheelies/stoppies/slides nor burnouts with this bike.

Not saying it's going to be the same with you but it's been my experience, when I look at your tire wear, that too much air in the tires will make it wear faster in the center and not enough air will make the tires cup. Not trying to be a smart *** but after I learned how to read my tire wear, I got more miles out of a set of tires that way.
