Not something I'm interested in, but maybe some of you are?

 

I dunno, my definition of "mint condition" differs. I guess for 105 yr old bike, it's mint.

 

Pretty neat, but I can think of a better way to spend $70,000

 

If I had a 1913 HD for sale, it sure wouldn't be listed on CL.

 

You would think the seller would have added a bit more description to this historic bike. Two lines of it "runs good" don't cut it when selling a museum piece.
and you are right, that belongs in Hemmings, not CL.

Ya, it may very well be a SCAM, it seems that is all craigslist is good for these days. I'm not even interested enough to question it to see what kind of answer I'd get back. If I was going to spend $70K it sure wouldn't be on an old HD.

 

Not in the market, and spending $70K is a bit beyond my means. Legit or not? Who knows.
But I sure wouldn't buy something like this sight unseen. I'd have to be there in person to see the bike and figure it out from there. And if I were to purchase, I'd haul it back myself, no way would I trust any shipper with something that valuable.

 

I aint buying it. That bike is worth much more than 70k at auction.
