Met a couple friends at a pretty large local dealership yesterday and outside was a really nice looking Road Glide in a paint scheme we had not seen before. Go inside and the friends know the shop owner who came over to talk while we were checking out a Road King Special in the same paint. Turns out it it is a very limited edition with only 150 made in each bike style and each numbered and painted on the tank. The Road King was something like 41 (?) of 150. But this is a $6,500 option. Yikes!!!. I really liked the bar and shield on the tank being kind of subtle but yet bold if that makes any sense.

That’s not $6,500 for the factory option. It’s for the entire paint/tins/bags set. But still, you can get a beautiful one of a kind custom paint job from a quality painter for less.

 

Saw one locally... Not my favorite blue. This was number 7.

 

Love it. But $6500??? Someone better get back on their meds.

And I think that’s as fugley as hell . That paint job belongs on a bicycle in Walmart !
Any amateur painter could do that with a Quarter roll of masking tape and a hours Worth of time .

 

Love the color, not the price. Would look good in my garage next to my other girl...

 

The tag says, "1969 boss mustang blue"

So yeah, would only seem appropriate parked next to your mustang.
