Default Chippewa Boots

How many of you folks got 'em & how do you like 'em ?
I looking at what i guess you'd call the classic engineer style
except I really do like the tall steel toe jobs. Saw a really good picture this
morning onebay & they really look good.
I know someone is going to say gay, but I've got pretty thick skin & besides
I'd rather have some extra leather around my legs in case I should go down.
I hear road rash ain't no fun period.
Also, you can order directly from Chippewa with free shipping & save some good
bucks not having to pay the taxman.
Anyway, all comments will helpful & appreciated.

Hey,
I've got a pair of engineer style boots from Red Wing and they are great. I've had them about four years and the soles still look new. I can walk all weekend at a rally and it's like wearing slippers. They make several styles of motorcycle boots and I'm sold on them.
Good Luck with whatever you get.

I have owned a few pairs of Chippewa work boots... western and lace up logger style. No complaints, they are well made, durable and comfortable.
I can't remember where I ordered them from (internet somewhere) but the guy included a '93 Sturgis shirt in the box with one of my orders
You can probably find them cheaper than ordering them direct.
IIRC, Justin Boots bought Chippewa a few years back.

I am wearing a pair right now. They are ankle high lace ups with steeled toes. Go figure, I work in an office. Anyhoo, they are one of the best pair of riding boots I've had. I got them at Cavender's, a western wear place in town.

I have a pair of their tallest engineers. I have worn them only a few times. Sure, they seem to be really well made boots, but they are heavy as hell.

I have a pairof Chippewasteel toe engineer boots, love em. Where them everyday all day. I've had them a couple of years. The only problem with thereally tall pair is heat. I bet they would be hot as hell in the summer.

I wear the 27862 Rally boot. I got them from this eBay seller; excellent service and prices--and note the guy's 100% satisfaction rate. He's selling them at $158 plus a few bucks for shipping, versus Chippewa's "sale" price of $195.

These boots are extremely comfortable, easy to get on and off. They look like they'll last many years.

I have a pair of Chippewa 27868 boots.

This is my third season (about 25,000 miles of riding)with them and they are holding up great, I had the heel replaced a couple of months ago. They were comfortable right out of the box and they just keep getting better plus they are made in the USA.

I cannot say enough good about Chippewa boots... I've had two pairs in the past ten years for my work (the steel-toed combat style boots) and I now have the pair pictured below as my riding boots. They're of the HIGHEST quality and are very comfortable and durable. They're sturdy boots and I think would give good protection in a fall. They're a bit more expensive but WELL worth the few extra bucks.

I got these for $150 delivered to my door from...
