Chippewa brown bomber engineer boots. Extremely comfortable. Water goes through them like a handkerchief. Maybe the black ones don't do that. I just don't prefer black boots.

Wow, you got a great price, Arizona. A new bookmark for me! I couldn't agree more about the boots; they're amazingly comfprtable--and no break-in either.

I have a pair of the engineer steel toe boots that go pretty high, a few inches below the knee.
I wear them everyday all day and they are very comfortable, as someone said they can get a little warm in the summer, they can be a little uncomfortable if you are doing a lot of walking. All that said I would buy again.

I picked up 2 pair (Black and brown) of the combat-style steel toe boots from the Sportsmans guide website early last year. They are great! Very comfortable and the most durable I've had. I bought 'em because they were cheap (that website deals in overstocks, discontinueds and factory seconds), but they are the best shoes I've had for riding in a loong time.

You can order direct from Chippewa here at their site:
www.chippewa-boots.net.
As far as I can see & tell , there is no tax & free shipping & with money &
prices the way they are today, that's a heck of a deal.

Hey,
I've got a pair of engineer style boots from Red Wing and they are great. I've had them about four years and the soles still look new. I can walk all weekend at a rally and it's like wearing slippers. They make several styles of motorcycle boots and I'm sold on them.
Good Luck with whatever you get.

I 2nd the recommendation for Red Wing.. had about 10 different pair of boots .. Red Wings and Cruiserworks by far the best for my $$..
