Setting your bike apart

The more popular model bike you have, obviously there will be more nearly identical bikes unless yours has a standout feature(s).
I have a CVO Ultra and my buddy had a custom color painted Ultra with barbed wire pin striping and custom tan leather everything so it obviously attracted a lot of attention.
Any bike that is accessorized nicely, is well taken care of, has a good color and is cleaned and waxed well gets my attention.

Wanna set your bike apart from the masses? Easy. Do something totally different.
A Triumph Rocket 3 power plant for example. THAT would be different.
The "pie slice" of a radial is so overdone it's become a joke. (Today IS "PI" day!)
If you must have the same ol', same ol', you're going to have to go to custom paint. That includes the frame, (Puleeze, not black anymore!)

OP I agree that bikes are better if they have some individualized look to them.
I achieve that but just with a few signature additions. The derby cover is secured with bolts that have a cone spike look to them. The plug wires are orange but they hang out and flop around on the left side. The right side has a red bottle opener on the battery cover (Dyna), right fender strut (Sportster) and on the cover on the right side of the new M8 softails.
That is enough to make it mine and spot down the row of bikes. That along with the scum and dried salt spray from winter riding.

If my wife had any idea how much I spend on bike stuff I would never leave the dog house. She has long since stopped asking what was delivered in boxes during my work week away from home. Of all the mods I have made so far to the new bike, the most discreet would be the amp and speakers as they can't be seen but still a bit pricey. Most everything else has been a combination of form and function. The older I get the worse I seem to get about making my bikes mine and what I need/want them to look/sound/perform like.
