I got a free Hog Membership with the new bike I bought too. Don't think I will renew my membership. Its about 45 miles or so to the closest Hog chapter. I don't think I will ever do any rides with them. You have to pay to belong to a Hog Chaptertoo right. I'm kinda of a loaner, always have been. I'm sure its great for some folks.

Just paid my renewal. $45 for a year gets me 15-20% off at my local dealer so it pays for itself. Another $29 paid the ultra road side package for my bike and my biz partners both... Better deals out there I'm surebut this one works ok for me. I used my free tow the first week I had my new bike. My first Mod was a new rear tire. Go figure...

Here Hog only pays $100 for a tow. My Ducati was broken down and they pay $200 for a tow. My free Hog ownership just ran out...I won't pay for a renewal. $45 for a $100 towards a tow job is what you get.. Not worth it in my opinion as my insurance already covers towing.

I go to chapter meetings but haven't had time for the rides[&:] I wouldn't pay$166 for that priviledge

Plus Hubby rides a Honda

and I have AAA for towing.

I assume that's the RV/Motorcycle upgrade? I just added that for $27. The basic AAA membership won't tow your bike.

My free HOG expires at the end of the month. I already have AAA and my MC insurance also has the breakdown coverage, no limit on events. Tell me why I need HOG other than the magazine?..Real question, am I missing something considerung the coverage I already have? Thanks.

I pay nothing.It sucks.After the one yaer memvership, I let it pass.All you get is a patch,a CRAPPY atlas, and Hog Tales(they give them away free at the dealer)Not worth the 45.00 a year they charge...........
