Default How much is my bike worth and how much could I get??

First of all I'm not actually selling my bike or even thinking about it. This is just for fun. Plus I'm always looking for an excuse to show off my bike! I always enjoy reading the bike value posts because I find it fun to see what other people think the value is sometimes roasting them. It's always interesting to see what a bikes Worth to someone. I often Cruise Craigslist just checking out prices and I'm amazed at some that are lower than I think they should beand some that are way higher than is reasonable!
Anyways anyways with all that being said this is my 1972 FLH. I purchased it for 7. The guy had originally wanted eight and a half. I got about four grand into it fixing the transmission fully servicing everything along with a top-end engine rebuild. Personally I'd value it at 8 but I wouldn't take less than 10 if you know what I mean LOL.
So feel free to school me and roast me!

Nice looking shovel. It is hard to put a price on another persons bike but I will say that bikes just aren't bringing much right now. I wouldn't take twice the market value for my old shovel(I'm sure you know what I mean).

There are tons of bikes for sale right now. Around here the shovels and Evo's are bringing more than the TC 88's but that ain't saying much. On average, right now, $5-$6k will get you a nice looking bike.

Again, nice looking bike, been a long time since mine looked like that. Not a lot of '72 parts left on my bike.

Beautiful bike. I like to check used bikes too. I was looking at getting a second touring bike. It’s funny how everyone prices their bike by year, with no regard for mileage or condition.

I think your figures sound reasonable. Your bike is sweet. There is no way I would sell my bike for Blue Book. I know it’s been maintained.

A motorcycle, is only worth, what the buyer is willing to pay.

Usually not nearly what the seller imagines.

Restored stock generator shovels are bringing close to pan prices.

Cone shovels are slowly becoming collectible...but they have to be close to stock...S&S carb and drag pipes on a shovel are almost considered stock...

Nice looking bike
