"Get-off Green"...green motorcycles are said to be bad luck, and are more prone to crashing. That is the superstition.

When I was buying mine, the salesman started a tale about Green being unlucky. I thought it odd that he stopped mid sentence.

I said; 'I'm aware of the superstition of Green bikes but I don't care.'

I HATE GREEN on any vehicle....but it never fails...if I find a good deal on a vehicle...or find a classic car in great shape....it is always green...I swear I believe that people that like green... take better care of their stuff than people that like other colors.

That superstition has been around forever. Has something to do with the green bikes in WWll and the fate of their passengers.
