So I was riding my Triumph and a that thingy on the tire valve stem flew off, you know, that screwy cover that you take off before putting air in the tire...anyway, that came off while it was riding- threw my tire off balance and I went into an oncoming Harley gang (two Harleys is a gang- right?) One of the gang members was an orthopedic surgeon and she set my ankle (I didn't even go down, but he set it anyway) The other gang member was a stock broker (he paid for his RK with his reliable dividends from HDI) and he shorted his US Tire position. I was so grateful they didn't beat me up that I took them to this really hip restaurant nearby for brunch. We had a really good time. SO good, that I started dating the orthopedic surgeon. Long story short we got married and now we sold both bikes and bought a 2WD Ural. Is this a great country or what?!?

Umm, I,ve actually seen my friends superglide taillight assembly come loose , get pulled up into the rear fender/tire. And he almost went down when the rear tire locked up. So, it can happen.

Hinckley relocated to Thailand, and you never told me?

And while we're on the subject of Thailand: https://www.reuters.com/article/us-h...-idUSKBN18L0DA

I thought there was some intelligent commentary on that thread. And the kind of ignorance that I had before I rode a Harley. HD needs to change its perception of unreliability, but look at how the M8 is perceived on HDF.

I agreed with the poster who said there are too many Blacked out bikes. Chrome will always be King to me.
