Default 2018 Iron 883 OTD price

So I went in and they quoted me for out the door price as $11,300. Is that a reasonable price or am I getting ripped off and souls talk them down more?
This is going to be my first bike and first time buying a new from a dealer.

OTD depends on your local tax and licensing costs, so direct comparisons aren't meaningful.

If money is a factor, you can buy pristine, low-mile garage queen Sportys all day long for half of that number.

I agree, get a nice low mileage iron from just a couple of years ago for much cheaper and use the leftover funds to upgrade the suspension, and a few other things that you’d like.

However if you want the 2018, just shop around. Don’t just go to one dealer. Get an idea of the prices from all the dealers within a couple hour radius since pricing can vary quite a bit.

I remember when Sportsters were $3995.
OP is in Bali, comparing international prices with the domestic market can't be done.
Probably a lot of tariffs added into OP's quote.

getting fully ripped off. ask them for a OTD or on a iron 1200. also, a used 2015+ iron can be had for 5-7k

yup...I had a brand new one in 1986. Fresh out of high school too. Hd had the deal that you buy the 883 for 3995 and ride free for year...ride it for a year and they'd give you 3995 on a trade in for any big twin...I kept mine lol

Yup. Bought my '86 slightly used at the dealer. $3499, still under warranty and they gave me $400 for my Suzuki single with 63,000 on the odometer.

Why do you do this, troll?

You've started 47 different threads, claiming to own a different bike in each one, and haven't replied once. You need professional help.
