Default Kit from 96 to 110?

Was there a kit like the "tire shredder" that took the 96 all the way to the 110? I cant find anything on the web that supports that.

96 =103... yes there was/is a kit, but that doesn't mean that is what was used there

try not to jump to conclusions, could be a cobbled together mess of take offs. we just don't know.

that is not a 58mm intake... there were some (discontinued) tire shredder kits that came with cable drive 58mm throttlebodies but, they are huge silvery things. this looks stock and that is not an hd intake. again. there's no telling whats going on here.

stock

58mm

Friend of mine put a 110 in his bike. He just swapped out the 96 rather than upping it. Sometimes you catch a deal that makes it worth it. (was a 103 that was upped to a 110)
I've never heard of anyone putting a fake badge on a Harley, but who knows. If it's a real 110, merry Christmas, I love mine.

You can tell if the engine has been swapped by comparing the numbers on the engine with the vin on the frame and title.

IIRC, there was a recent thread about fake 110 badges.

even if the badges were fake, the heads are not stock. There is a cast area in the fins were the badge is sitting that wouldn't be there if they were stock.

Way to much to guess at. Stuff like this is why folks try to avoid hopped up used bikes. Its a crap shoot. Never know what sort of cantankerous activities took place. I'd feel sorry for the schmuck that bought one of my bikes.

Exactly. You can't just put 110 badges on 96/103 heads. Those are Screaming Eagle heads. I'd be willing to bet it's actually a 110", but only way to know is pull a head and measure the cylinder bore.

Could possibly be 110 heads on a stock motor, but any knowledgeable builder would never do that, as the 110s have a different combustion chamber shape and the compression ratio would be way off.

Last reply on this. Got confirmation from the dealer that took three weeks to do the safety and road test that it is a crate 110,
