Anyone have a 170 tire they can measure for me?

Default Anyone have a 170 tire they can measure for me?
I need a width measurement of a 170 tire. I know I know......its 170mm but the truth is it may not be. I measured the 180 tire off my RKC still mounted and full of air and it was actually 170mm wide! Reason is Im building a bobber in another thread and before I buy a 170 - 16 rear tire for the build I want to verify the actual width for chain clearance assuming its less than 170mm wide.

It depends on the width of the rim it is being mounted on.

Agreed and since im a glutton for punishment I think Ill just go with a 180 tire and go to the earths end to make it fit properly.
