This place is in Gatlinburg. Great food, pizza, custom beers, BBQ, burgers etc. A very popular place. Bike parking available.

Not to tell you how to ride, not my job, but the curvy roads there require full attention. Even 2-3 beers in the heat could cost you. Curves and switchbacks, you gotta be on your game, especially on the Dragon, Moonshiner 28 etc. Be carefull, I've been clean for 23 years, but my buddies limit themselves to one beer at a stop as it can very hot and humid some days. Traffic is horrible around Pigeon Forge, Gattlinburg area.

As I said, never been down there before but I read and heard that the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area made a good base camp to ride out of. I also read about how bad the traffic can be at times but we’ll there mid week, not over the weekend.

Yep, I got it and understand exactly what you mean. I’ll repeat myself, this thread wasn’t to express the fact that we’re looking to go out and get hammered all day long. Just looking for suggestions on places to stop, suggested by other riders, so that I can formulate a few ideas on rides we can create for the days we’ll be there.

The places some have recommended here are good. The place we like in Gatlinburg is
Loco Burro Fresh Mex Cantina. It's a rooftop style place overlooking the main drag there. The only downside is that it's a CF traffic wise. Enjoy the ride & the local hangouts.

Traffic in June is not as bad as the traffic in late September through October. That is the height of tourist season down there because of the changing of the leaves. It's absolutely beautiful that time of year, but packed with people. June shouldn't really be too bad. I've been there at different times of year, and trust me, it's a lot less crowded in the summer than in the fall.

We've ridden around there a bunch and I will say, not a bunch of "roadhouses" like there are in other areas. And as mentioned, a bunch of dry areas. If you do a Google search - Taverns Tellico Plaines - a few come up throughout the area.

Obviously the bigger towns/cities will have more. Johnson City, Asheville, Maryville, etc. Deals Gap has beer as I recall.
