Default My throttle gets stuck

When I park my Harley and turn the apes to the left to the end my throttle gets stuck.....seems like the cable gets squeezed......
I have 18-inch apes but the cables were replace....so I have to pull the throttle cable out from behind the tank to release the tension......
but you know it is annoying because sometimes you have to turn your apes to ehe left completely when you are standing still to turn around and the freaking throttle gets stuck...
what to do?

Go back and set your throttle and idle cable adjustments correctly.
Get some cable clamps to keep your cables from moving too much and getting squeezed.
Something like

If I think of something else I'll let you know.

Yup, my throttle gets stuck too....at least that is what I tell the cops when I get stopped for speeding.

All jest aside, add some clamps or zip ties to the cable to keep it from moving on you. Consider longer cables too.

Sounds like you need longer cables, correctly adjusted and routed with clamps in the right place.

If you're sure the cable is the correct length then remove it and re-route it so that doesn't happen.

Had the same problem when apes were turned left. Just had to follow the pinches/tensions, adjust the position of the cablwsans the sag and readjust some of my clips. It's a bit trial and error. Most of the pinch was at the neck of the bike.

It is really as simple as the above. If cables are long enough and route/clamped correctly there should be no issues
