Sorry you went down. GLad to hear you and your wife will recover! As others have said, get back in the saddle ASAP. The best thing you can do is get in touch with your insurance co, and see what thyey have to say, then take it from there. Good luck.

I feel badly for you and your wife.
A good buddy of mine had a similar bad experience last week, when a vehicle turned left right in front of his transport just north of North Bay. Buddy and his 130,000 lbtruck andloadended up upside down in the ditch, the guy in the car was killed and some others went to the hospital.
All I could think of then and now is, it could have been much worse for you.
Your friends could all be at the funeral parlours.

Hi every one and thanks again for your thoughts. It appears my insurance is coming good for enjury's and the kids parents insurance will cover the bike. One way or the other the bike will be fixed. Now I am thinking that this may be a great time to have my stage one done since the dealer will have exhaust off and such. Could some off you with the following exhausts send pictures please before I make my final decission. Vance and Hines Big Shot Longs HS exhuast, Vance and Hines Softail True Duals, And Screaming eagle16 gauge double barrel's. Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Glad you and your wife are basically OK and will live to ride another day. I hope it all gets squared away quickly and to your satisfaction. Just goes to show you can never be too paranoid or careful on the roads. Threats come out of no-where!

Hope all works out well for you, the wife and your bike. I hit a kid on a bike once who rode out in front of me. I was in my wife's car and the only damage was to the bike. Thank God a witness came back or the Atlanta Police would have kicked my butt. That kid was a pain too - he cussed me out for wrecking his bike. Oh well.

 

Glad everbody walked away from it,,,,heal quick,,,and get back out there.....

I gotta say,,,,this is the first time I ever heard of a bicyclist tripping up a harley....
