oh hell no !

in Ontario the law is the highest part of the handlebars can't be more than 15" higher than the highest part of the seat while the rider is sitting on the motorcycle . most of the time the cops don't bother even if you're running apes as long as the bars aren't above your shoulders .
these would be an automatic ticket every time you took it on the street , assuming the cop could write a ticket while laughing so hard .
also i have a personal thing about not looking like an idiot when i'm in public . at home all bets are off .

It has been a long long time ago but someone posted another pic of a bike with handle bars about like those, and and I commented on why they were called ape hangers, some Mod thought I was being racist and removed my post, but in all sincerity I was referring to one of these.

 

I wouldn't want to be seen riding that, unless I was being paid to ride it.
