I will just say that I have to work on my own bike because I love to build and fix anything. I ride with a guy who always answers my tech questions with "take it to the dealer". Well he does and pays dearly for it. And he misses out on the satisfaction of discovering and learning new stuff. Ask a dealer to bring oxidized wheels back to life and they will try to sell you new ones! Oh and you get to invent things like slip on exhaust savers (the 2 pieces of pink string). I got these rims looking new with some jewelers rouge and of course a lot of elbow grease.
