what insurance company does your buddy have? i know that i have trip interruption with progressive and if my bike strands me overnight over 100 miles from home that they will reimburse me for a certain amount on my hotel bill/food.

also, if he has esp, they'll also cover some of that. i think there max is $150 per day. but a room across from the dealer for $39? i'd take that.

Becoming quite the adventure.

Not quite sure how "Wild Hogs" enters into this as they were in Calif/New Mex...

There's a reason they call I4 "The Monster". My poor wife used to have to drive it from Maitland to Lakeland and back every day in rush hour...

Why do you insist on NOT posting your ride reports in the "Road Trips" area??

His bike is a 2009 Model that he bought new currently with 140K miles. The bike has been on 10 Iron Butt rides, two Hoka Hey competitions, all lower 48 states multiple times and Alaska twice. NO WARRANTY! I’ll mention to him to check his insurance, that may be an option. Thanks

The name has nothing to do with any organization. It is all about the movie “Wild Hogs” where a bunch of us older guys ride the open road with no planned destination!

You have no idea! The dealer tried to tell me a different route but it was late and I was tired so I trusted WAZE to get me through the quickest way. I told the wife “NEVER AGAIN” will I do I-4.

They are insane. Risking their lives and cars and others on the road for one position ahead of the crowd!
I’m glad I have nowhere to be that quickly!

I had no idea I was “INSISTING” on anything. Thanks for pointing that out, I will consider it next time!
