Cycle (pronounced Sick-el)
Was talking to my dad tonight (he's nearly 80) and he asked my how I liked my new Cycle (Sick'-el).
He rode until he was around 35. Then he had a couple bikes when he was in his 50's (one was a BSA 440 scramble I would like to have now.)
Got me thinking about how many of us are so damn old that we called em Sick-els, not Cyc-cle's, when we were young.
One thing I do know, kick starters suck!!!!.....God bless the person who invented push button electric starters.
Just drinkin some Tecate and "wondering" down memory lane.
Bikes now are pretty kick *** compared to what we used to ride.

Consider that your Dad's use of Sick-el may be right and that some may have gone wrong with the pronunciation motor cycle. As evidence say out loud the following word -- bicycle. What do you think?

Thank you Cash! People have been pickin' on me for years for saying motor-sic-el. Now I have something to say back to them!!! I just always said it that way because my dad did. (I am 33 years old)
