[quote=tar_snake]Here's my helmet. I've had it like this for close to ten years. Only had two people whine about it and I just laughed at them and walked off. I even had a preacher man me he agreed with my helmet, just not quite the wording, but he wasn't complaining.

Image containing profanity removed.

Enjoying motorcycles does not require us to take pride in being vulgar and uncivil. I would like to see fewer of us do so.

Naw, no girl friend. However, my wife doesn't ride a street glide either. She is also a high mileage rider. We rode 65000 miles on our trip to Sturgis for the 75th.

They have thin skin.....

Yet for years they bashed the road glide, until people figure out the did well in the wind.

Well it's not black.
That is impressive; 65000 miles!!!
Where all did you go????????????????????

The slow pokes are the easy ones to pass, its the ones riding the speed limit that are a bit harder to pass.....

Only a clown would go ride the Dragon to see scenery as there is none. People go for the challenge of riding it. If your passed by a bicycle on the dragon, you need to go some where and learn how to ride.

That is one of the worst roads in the area for scenery. There is one pull off with a good view, and that is it. The rest is thick with trees and not much to see. I like to go to the dragon to watch all the people that try to ride it so slow they fall over in the hair pins, or are afraid to lean the bike and go over the double yellow.

For Scenery the Cherohala Skyway way is MUCH better. Lots of pull offs, and most the road has good scenery, and lots to see. 441 also has much better scenery, and lots of pull offs. Both these roads you do not have to watch the road every second like you do on the Dragon.
