Don't hate it , but as wife and I age it is not as much fun. Can still ride a bit . The ATV sits in the yard . I had always dreamed of going back to TN when the last retirement came. But end up staying here. Grandchildren are important . I did ride yesterday.

Here I sit, drinking my Sunday coffee. All the while, looking outside, thinking, this sucks. Logged on to HD Forums, and came across this thread. Yes, I hate winter. Didn't always, now I do. I'm unfortunately grounded here by too many things, so this won't change any time soon. Yesterday, I got to ride about 40 miles...coming home, the snow was flying. Glad I was able to ride until 12/9. Time to make some lemonade (like Smitty, above)!

Was going to try and finish getting the first 1000 miles on Saturday, but the white mess hit. Took the car and went shopping at my dealer and came home with a t-shirt, Christmas ball, crested large brake pad, and defiance front axle covers. Not a fan of winter.

Like other's, I am not as indifferent to it as I once was, but I probably am going to stay locally as long as my son does.
Grand-kids are old enough that they are TBD as they enter careers.
Would like to get away after the holidays for a couple of month's.
Also TBD as my finances shake out and settle down.
It's a mindset, you can deal with anything if you decide to, but if you have choices it makes it easier.
