I love the winter. You guys need to get yourselves some snowmobiles. I thought it sucked not being able to ride my bike for 4 months max during the winter... now that I know how much it sucks not being able to ride my sled for 8-9 months, putting the bike up is easy. Plus, snowmobiles are way more fun.

I dislike it more and more every year. Aftyer Christmas, it becomes a drag, although I do seem to stay busy and it passes rather quickly. It was worse when I was younger.I seem to have more things to do now.

Winter does tend to get a bit boring especially with all the dull brown but once we get some of the white stuff on the ground, it seems to get a little easier.... for me anyhow as I ride a sled... the wife on the other hand hates winter & we'd be living in the S if she had her way! But I wouldn't like the extreme heat in the summer time...

It was after THAT blizzard that sales of 4x4 pickups and sport utes really took off in Michigan. I had a '70 2WD Ford pickup w/posi but ordered a new '79 Ford 4x4 pickup as soon as I could.

And that`s weird too, it going that far south. Yet, here in Oklahoma we got nothing, just cold. I`m glad though. I should enjoy it, `cuz I know sooner or later we`ll get hit with it or a crippling ice storm.

Sometimes in Oklahoma, but not as often as Y`all.

Part of my job with the state was clearing snow. I hoped to move south when I retired. Hoped to never see snow or operate another machine. Well still here retired four years later.

If I had lots of $$$ I wouldn't mind it so much... But I don't and winter months drag on... I do believe I appreciate the summer months ridding more because of the winter
