Who hates winter?

I'm fully retired now and have no plans to go back to work. I've spent all of my winters in Michigan, Wisconsin, and Colorado but I was always occupied with work or school. Now I have to make myself go out every day, even if it's just for the sake of going out. I'm considering doing the RV snowbird thing in FL or AZ; I have friends doing that in those places. What really killed winter for me is the night shift regional trucking job I got when I retired. I got real sick of frozen trucks, highways, loading docks, and winter in general.

I find it difficult to experience hate for anything. I love the four seasons. I think that for me living in an area of little change would ultimately be boring.
Love winter riding which I have done throughout my over 61 years of riding motorcycles.
Since I retired 15 years ago I have ridden from Nov. 1 to March 31 which in the midwest is the winter riding season from 12 to a high of 16K miles. I would suggest that alone is more than many sunbelt riders do in a year.
In the winter I ride local. In the summer I ride the North American Continent. Life is good.
By the way hate causes stress. Stress causes many human afflictions including cardiovascular problems. Lower your blood pressure go for a ride in 20's with clear roads. It is amazing.

Grand Rapids here, took me 3 days to dig out my driveway, took car out of the garage & promptly got stuck in the street. Finally got it back in the garage then went back inside. Ah the good old days before i had a snowblower and 4 wheel drive.

I don't "hate winter" but prefer to keep my distance
Love looking at it, make a few hour trip to grab a handful of it...
But the older i get the less I want to deal with it.
My wife and I have been making trips to AZ to figure out what location fits us best.
The longer I live in WA (wash ing ton) the more I love the hot sun beating down, soaking up those beautiful rays.
For that you have to be willing to leave the wet side.
