I get as much riding in as I care to. If I wanted more, places are available to go to. I enjoy the solitude of winter. The tourists are back around Detroit and Chicago and the north is back to where we can go to the store and leave our cars running in the lot.

 

Who on here remembers the "Blizzard of 78"? I can handle these mild winters and no riding. But not another one of those?

 

It's a waste of time and energy hating things I cannot change, like the weather.

In any case, it beats cowering inside in the A/C from May to September because it's "too hot to ride."

Winter is kind of nice, especially in Southwest Florida! Seriously, the bikes both north and south are ready to go if the weather and road conditions cooperate, 24/7/365.

 

Who does that?

 

I don't like winter , I still ride & it makes my fingers sting , coffee taste great .

 

I lived in Kalamazoo during that blizzard. I remember it well.

 

Connecticut here, too... we make the best of it, but yeah, no riding sucks.
