Default Any regrets switching to smoke lens

Thinking of upgrading to led tail light and turn signals. The smoke lens would look good on my billit silver FLHR,but how much brightness would I lose with the smoke instead of red?

just do it... don't like it, undo it.

all mine are smoked with leds behind them. when the lights are on, you can't even tell the lenses are smoked no "noticeable" loss of brightness

I have LED's in all lights on my RKC. I swapped out my front turn signal lenses from orange to smoke. They look great and are still very bright. For my rear run-turn-brake lights I kept the red lenses because I just want it very obvious when I apply the brakes. I also have a BAL-1.

I used Custom Dynamic smoked lenses w/ LED replacement bulbs and I would say I've gained brightness over the OEM. Front and back.

another one here, with the same opinion. even with the
smoke covers, the led's are way brighter than factory.

Agreed with cvaria and elephantrider...with LEDs it really doesn't matter which lens is on it. And it's cheap enough to switch back.

I say go for it!
