I have the WWW's on my '98 Heritage Springer (95th A-E bike) and WW's on an '03 RK.
Not hard to keep clean if you don't let them get too long without cleaning.
A power washer is the fastest cleaning method but Wesley's Bleech White with a scouring pad also works very well.
I've found that you can (thoroughly) spray the tires with the Bleech White and ride in the rain works very well.

Now that's funny.
IMHO, on modern bikes www's really only look good on Heritage Classics which is why I have them on mine.
