Also a "IF I have my pants on, I have a knife." type of guy.
Airport excepted.

Been so since I was about 10 years old, 67 now, too late to change that habit.
Use them many times a week, bike or no bike.

That's a habit I inherited from my dad. Only exception is for air travel.

I’ve usually got a boker kalishnakov, CRKT fossil, or Kerahaw para frame on me. Usually the Kershaw during the week it meets the work policy for allowed utility tools.

When not at work I carry either a TOPs street scalpel or Coye Ridgeback horizontally midline to the left of my IWB pistol.

I carry a Gerber MP1 multi tool in my bag. One thing I really like is it works with removable hex bits. The set I carry with it has Torx & Allens, which covers a lot of little fasteners on the bike. Pretty versatile for the small size.

My Leatherman removed many illegal and fictitious license plates when I was working motors.

I have a Benchmade lock blade with me all the time. I'd really like a multi-tool but all the ones I want are as heavy as a pistol.

Really?
If you haven't found the use for one it's not necessary for you.

I have my faithful Swiss army 'Camping' model in my jeans full time. Never had to use it on the bike but carry it along just in case...b.
