oops... plugged my tender in wrong
#22
My bikes are simple and don't have much parasitic drain on their batteries when they are sitting, so I wouldn't plug them in unless they were going to sit for more than a few weeks. If one of my bikes won't start after sitting for a few weeks, I would replace the battery. If I had a bike with a security system and more parasitic battery drain, I would probably plug it in if it was going to sit for more than a week. Every bike will be different in this regard, so you'll have to take notice of how easily it starts after it has been sitting for a week or two.

This is my first winter where I am trying to chage them all on the first of the month. Historically charge 1-2 during winter, and night before first ride. My tractor is on a charger, cause it sits for a long time, and I don't know when I'll use it. My other vehicles I try to rotate here and there as I think about it.
I'll walk by the mower and throw it on a charge.
