Question Electric Harley...would you?

Electric Motorcycles by Zero

This link came up on one of my feeds. As it is with cars, many motorcycles will be available one day that are not run on internal combustion.

There are obvious pros, such as electricity costing less than the equivalent amount of dino fuel and the lesser degree of routine maintenance that will be necessary.

Since most of us ride with aftermarket mods to heighten the volume for personal satisfaction as well as safety reasons, how would you feel about the sound being "fake"?

Other thoughts?

Yeah, but cost savings may tempt some.

Haha I don't think the green argument carries much weight among us though.

The question is worded poorly. I would definitely ride one. I would never buy one.

I would ride one and buy one but wouldn't expect it to be like any normal bike.

I voted no. If I bought an electric bike, it would be for performance, and Harley has proven they can't compete in that...

Judging from from the expeirence I've had with harleys electrics and now some of their electronics, no fugging way I'd pay money for one.

I would definitely buy and ride an electric motorcycle, but H-D * at this point * is synonymous with these amazing V-twin mills and all the visceral stimulation that goes with them. To me anyway...

Nope. On a motorcycle you need some noise. My wr has a stock exhaust and some people are so oblivious that they don't notice you. I want to pipe it just to be noticed by other drivers.
