Its gonna be in the low 70s here for another week in the Land of Entrapment. Will most surely get some riding in this week before mine go into the barn for "winter" storage. My wife and I no longer care to ride in temps below 50 despite the sunny climate here in the high desert. Mine go up from mid-November until mid-March the following year. This layup also helps me afford the insanely high insurance premium I must pay here. NM must have the highest rates in the lower 48. I drop the insurance while in storage and this trims about $400 off my annual premiums for three bikes.
Anyway, yes, its nearing the end, so ride'em while you can where ever you are!

YUP, here in Michigan the Harley is resting up for next summer. We have had snow already this year. The nights are in the 20's and 30's. Our bikes are put away but now we are waiting for the deep snow to arrive so we can get out the winter machine which is not at all like my Harley this is fast, like being shot out of a canon. This weighs half what the harley weighs and has 160hp. And even this old guy thinks this is the most fun you can have with your clothes on. Brrraaappppppppppppppppppppppp!

Took the bike for a ride today, stopped at the gas station on the way home, filled the tank and added Sta-Bil. Parked her in the garage and jacked her up about 12", plugged the Battery Tender in, and covered her up with two old sheets. Already changed the oil a week ago, so she's ready for a nice winter's nap.
