I put 200 miles on it today. Liking it more and more.

Leaving for Ft Meyers in the morning will be back home Tuesday. Thats another 800 miles. Have an appointment Wednesday for the 1,000 service then leave again on Thursday for 6 days. I figure by the time I get back home, I'll have to do the 5,000 miles service. LOL

No, didn't know about it.

Going to Ft. Meyers to get a hitch for the new bike. Then have to go to Lakeland for the Food for Florida, Hurricane Irma relief effort.

Not all fun but, I get to do a lot of riding. LOL

I'm loving it. We don't have any real twisties here so, my only comparison is the on and off ramps of the interstate. LOL But, with that said, it really feels more stable and solid doing those curves and some of them are pretty tight.

The ride is much improved also. The suspension, there is very little "dive" in the front end now when you hit the front brake hard.

I went from the 08 Heritage to the 18 in same day. Put about 100 miles on the 08 taking the long way to the dealer to trade it in on the 18, left there and took the long way home. Rode about 80 miles and could immediately tell the difference.

Took a good look at those new frames while I sat in the dealer friday waiting on mine , the bikes look more compact than the old style softtail and frames appeared most solid looking. Keep us updated please.

I hate it but, will wait for the warranty to run out before I change them.
I have a friend with the same bike that had the Screaming Eagle slip ons installed. Side by side, you can't tell the difference. I'm leaning to keeping the stock pipes but will probably get the black shields, I really don't like that big splash of chrome!

Looks like the black shields are only available for the Screaming Eagle Street Cannons. Leaves us out of that option also if we keep the stock mufflers.
