I used to run Kendall GT1 20w50 Turbo oil in my '77 R100S BMW. I ran it hard out west in triple digit temps with over 90K on the odometer - all alone and a long way from home. That was a popular oil with the air-cooled Porsche enthusiasts.
Brad Penn is also popular with the air-cooled Porsche guys. High ZDDP. I have a few cases in the garage. I used Mobil V-Twin in the bike but plan to try the Brad Penn next change. Btw, the Porsche forum I frequent has an oil thread that’s over 2100
replies long.
My sons tires on his wide glide are 10years old and look every good no cracks. I'll take that 10 year old oil and put it to good use . Even if it's in a carboard can .

Yep. My drag racer is an air cooled VW. At nearly 500hp from a 2.2 litre motor, (turbocharged, injected on methanol) it hasn't had an oil related issue in many years. A lot of the high performance ac VW guys use BP too.
If it's good enough for that, it's good enough for my HD
Come on it's not the money for god sakes I ride a Harley money is no object when it comes to my bike I was just wondering if maybe it just might be better oil
