All of the big online names are within +/- $10 or so of each other.

Revzilla has an amazing reputation for their customer service. While I haven't bought tires from them, I've been a customer for years. They're awesome.

I've used a few of the above, good recent date tires from all of them. Just bought one (Avon) from Amazon two weeks ago, and it was only a few weeks old, about as good as it gets. A lot of the big bike stores sell through Amazon; find your tire brand and size, and look at where it's sold from, some will be available from multiple sellers and you can select the one you want - mine came from BikeBandit, another good store I've bought from in the past.

Amazon, like eBay uses many different vendors. A good experience once is not a guaranteed good experience the next time.

I used JP cycles, then had my Indy mount and balance, I removed the wheels myself. I ended up paying about half what the Dealer would charge. I think I came in at around 285-300 ish. I did the wrenching though. It wasnt bad.

I've used bikebandit and revzilla. No problems and tires were pretty new (manufactured within a few months of order date).
