Battery Tender

I leave the battery tender on my bike all year long, even during the riding season I plug it in when I park the bike for the night. In the winter I bring the battery inside and it's hooked up to the tender all winter, usually November thru March or April.
The Tender is designed to be constantly connected- it tapers the charge on and off as the battery discharges and recharges.

Mine were always plugged in unless I forgot - but more often than not, I’d pull in and plug in. Definitely if I wasn’t going to ride in for a week or more.
Of course, on the new bike I need to see if there’s a pigtail attached - I haven’t even looked yet! Of course, I’m riding it whenever I can so I’m not too worried about it yet...
