Default battery dead, and alarm keeps going off!

So i tried a battery tender for few days, and nothing. Tried a battery charger, nothing. Battery stays dead. If i turn the ignition, the alarm goes off for five minutes. I tried to pull the main fuse but the bike does not see the ignition on.

I cut the wires to the siren, and it still rang for a little while, but didnt start again. Coincidence? I dont know and dont want to try again.

It's my second battery this year... Bike only needs to sit for two days and it wont start.

Any help is needed, i had to take the bus this morning...Horrible!

Start with the battery. If it won't take a charge, it's shot. Or take the battery somewhere and ask for it to be load tested- you never know, maybe they'll be able to bring it back to life, but that's probably a long shot.
With a good battery you'll have to have the charging system tested. If your battery goes flat in just 2 days, you likely have something draining the battery even when the ignition is shut off. Put a current meter on to measure the power draw on the battery when the ignition is shut off.
Electrical issues can be a pain to troubleshoot. Either you got a bad second battery, or you have something putting a drain on the battery. And or your charging system isn't functioning.

So hook your battery charger to your wires while you swap out your battery, no more problems.

Call Ghostbusters. Your bike is haunted.

I don’t know the first thing about Harley alarm systems. That said, is it possible you armed the alarm inadvertently and it’s activating each time you try to start it because it is armed?

Are you talking about the alarm (flashing lights) or the siren?
The add on accessory siren has it's own battery.

if you have the security system and a siren, which has its own internal battery, then pulling the main battery will set off the alarm and even pulling the main fuse wont stop it.

Make sure you have the fob nearby when you pull the battery so that the system does not go into alarm.

Models with sirens: Verify that fob is present and turn ignition key to IGNITION before removing main fuse or disconnecting battery.

if you have been thiugh twp batteries this year you have something wrong with the charging system or a short. what's the bike putting out when running ? should be 14.5 volts. i've seen many a voltage regulators that put out 12.5 which is enough to keep the bike running but not enough to keep the battery up all the way. check your stator for shorts and out put also.
